PUPPY LOVE

Last November we brought this baby into our Foto by Eva Studio for a session with her large dog Gus.( a few pics are in an earlier posting. Check them out if you wish).
She was SO cute we had to bring her back to do another session with her pug Chi Chi.
This baby did NOT fail to meet our expectations for a sweet, easy and adorable baby.
Too bad she will have to grow up soon and won’t be sitting still for photography sessions as she is at 7-8 months.

Twins are always so much fun to photograph.
The main challenge is to try to remember who is who.
We try to pick out some feature that will help us, but these two little beauties were so close
that we had a really hard time telling them apart.
They, however, definitely know who they are and would let us know right away when we got it wrong.

As we all know our children go through these phases of love/hate during their teenage years.
Eventually they will be able to stand to touch shoulders with each other and will sooner or later become best friends.

Four little stair steps

This may be the last time that these four children can stand together and form a stair step formation.
Soon they will be grown and be various heights.
Capturing that timely moment is so important as children have a way of changing so quickly.

Christmas sessions are in full swing here at Foto by Eva. In this one we got lots of really adorable photos of these children separately and together, and some funny ones. This one stood out because it looks like Vera is saying, “Don’t worry, Georgie. Santa WILL come.”. We (Eva & Kathee) have so much fun with our little munchkins and we never know what will happen next!

Each year this family comes in from Paris, France to visit and come into our studio in Virginia Beach for photography of their girls.

The girls have been photographed here since they were babies and have been two of Eva’s favorite model babies.

It is so fun to see them each year and watch them growing.

How to avoid fake smiles on your child

A LITTLE ADVISE ABOUT GETTING A NATURAL SMILE OF A CHILD IN PHOTOGRAPHS.

When you say SMILE you get a very fake look and the eyes are not smiling. But if we talk

about something fun we did or favorite movie or a joke we will get a totally different smile

that looks natural.

Try it next time you photograph your child.And PLEASE,PLEASE do not tell

them to smile here at FOTO BY EVA,we spend soooo….. much time to erase those fake

expression. Or you could say peek-a-boo ,most of the time it works to get a natural smile

but sometimes you get this… Peek a Boo!

As you may know, we at  foto by eva have been photographing newborns, babies, children and families for more than 25 years.

In our studio in Virginia Beach everything photographed is family oriented. We capture the precious moments from bridal to pregnancy, newborn to childhood and to high school seniors, preserving these moments for generations.

We would like to get your comments and feedback for making your photographic experience the best ever.

As staff for foto by eva, Kathee, Linda and Robin welcome Eva back home from Las Vegas where she attended the International Licensing Expo that was formerly held at the Javit Center in New York City. At the Licensing Show,Eva negotiated contracts for puzzles and greeting cards using her images for distribution worldwide.  And currently is in the process of signing contracts for greeting cards and school supplies in England and Italy.
